Case Study III

Henry is a political science major in his junior year. He has been collaborating with Professor Chelsing on a research project since the end of his freshman year. During the Winter semester, he is taking a class with Professor Chelsing. In addition, Henry and Professor Chelsing are presenting the results of their research collaboration at a professional conference in March. A major assignment is due in Professor Chelsing’s class the week following the conference. Henry is overwhelmed by the demands of preparing his presentation at the conference and completing the class assignment. He asks Professor Chelsing for an extension on the assignment.
